Refurbished servers,
built to your spec.

Refurbished enterprise servers configured for virtualisation, databases, storage, web hosting and internal workloads. A safer way to buy used servers in Malaysia: tested, configured and supplied with warranty. Lower cost than buying new, with more room in the budget for better performance per dollar, or simply savings to reinvest into your business.

The case for refurbished

Enterprise hardware is built for long service.
A lot of it gets refreshed early.

ORIGINAL USE
Tier-1 OEM ships server
Dell, HPE, Supermicro and Lenovo systems are built for business and datacentre environments.
REFRESH CYCLE
Customer replaces hardware
Large companies often refresh equipment on schedule, even when the hardware still has useful life left.
WE BUY HERE
Zenith sources, rebuilds, tests
We acquire suitable systems, update firmware where available, configure to your spec and burn-test before delivery.
SECOND LIFE
Deployed at your business
Lower cost than buying new, configured around the workload you need to run.

What's included in the build.

Tier-1 chassis only

Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Supermicro, Lenovo ThinkSystem. No whitebox or unverified rebuilds.

Genuine components

OEM-branded RAM, drives and NICs where available. Consumable parts are checked and replaced where needed.

Firmware updated

iDRAC, iLO, BIOS, NIC and RAID firmware updated where available before delivery.

72-hour burn-in

Memory test, CPU stress, drive checks and network checks before the system leaves us.

Limited 1-year hardware warranty

Warranty coverage depends on the final build and agreed terms. We confirm the scope clearly in the quote.

Configured to spec

You tell us workload, RAM, storage and network requirements. We quote a build around that, not a generic stocklist server.

Common workloads

Refurbished servers are commonly used for these workloads.

Virtualisation

VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V hosts. The single most common workload we build for.

Databases

SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB. OLTP and reporting.

File / NAS / backup

Storage targets, backup repositories, archive. SAS HDDs are still the cost-per-TB winner.

Web / app hosting

LAMP/LEMP, container hosts, CI runners, internal tools.

Hosting providers

Resellers and small clouds — we supply the underlying hardware.

Dev / test environments

Where production-grade hardware is useful but new hardware pricing is hard to justify.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Will it last?
Enterprise servers are designed for long service life, but condition matters. We test the hardware before delivery and quote sensible configurations based on the workload.
What if something fails?
We include a limited 1-year hardware warranty. Coverage depends on the final build, covered parts, parts availability and agreed terms.
Can I get OEM warranty?
OEM warranty may or may not transfer with refurbished hardware. This is determined on a case-by-case and hardware basis. If OEM warranty is important to you, let us know and we'll do our best to source parts with OEM warranty still intact.
What about firmware and security updates?
We update firmware where available before delivery and can advise on practical lifecycle considerations for the hardware platform.
Why not just buy new?
New hardware makes sense for latest-generation platforms, direct OEM warranty, or standard procurement requirements. Refurbished is mainly about getting capable enterprise hardware at lower cost.
